Outdoor Living by Design, LLC is a full-service designer, fabricator, and installer of a wide range of outdoor living options. Owner Aaron Murphy, who also has A+ Concrete Design, LLC, has been doing outdoor fireplace and patio design and installation for a quarter of a century and has expanded into a wide range of outdoor living options, including pergolas, pavilions, fire pits, and water features. “We do it all in-house,” says Murphy. “We don’t sub ut any of our work, so if we say we can do it, we can, with no surprises. If we tell you it’s in stock, it is. We have our own concrete crew and our own carpentry crew. We also service what we sell and install.”
Outdoor Living by Design carries a wide variety of high-end grills and fireplaces, including Dimplex indoor and outdoor propane and natural gas heaters, and radiant and infrared electric infrared heaters in every conceivable style. They also offer Dimplex direct-wire and plug electric fireboxes and can design and install them in a custom-designed setting of t e customer’s choice. Their Daphne AL showroom includes a wide variety of samples to fit in almost any home or outdoor room.
In addition to the Dimplex lines, Outdoor Living by Design offers a range of outdoor fire pit options from Warming Trends and other manufacturers. Their designers and fabricators can create a fire pit utilizing CROSSFIRE Brass Burners with a limited lifetime warranty, and design a patio, pavilion, or pergola with seating to fit the allotted space and complement the style of t e home. “We use our own employees for 0% of the design and installation work,” says Aaron Murphy. “We stand behind our work, and the customer gets our full intention.”
Grills and outdoor kitchens are a huge part of Outdoor Living’s focus. The company is proud to carry the Coyote Outdoor Living line of high-quality outdoor kitchen equipment. Their products allow customers to create their own outdoor kitchen and entertaining space within the available space. Coyote offers high performance grills and smokers, power burners, specialty grates, flat-top griddles, traditional side burners, pots and pans, and more. In addition, they offer a wide range of refrigeration, refreshment, and storage options to make the outdoor kitchen a complete entertainment area. The company also carries a range of charcoal grills, hybrid gas and charcoal grills, and the Coyote Pellet Grill, which uses a green, smart drop pellet fuel system. The pellet grill is available as a built-in system, or as a freestanding, fully assembled cart.
Coyote’s Asado Cooker rounds out the line. It is an extremely versatile appliance that can be used for grilling, smoking, searing fish and vegetables, and even for baking bread and pizzas. The Asado features excellent heat retention properties and offers precise temperature control through its top venting cap and its bottom slide vents. Coyote offers its own lump charcoal and a full line of accessories for the Asado Cooker. In addition to Dimplex and Coyote, the company is proud to offer ten of the largest and best-selling brands of outdoor appliances.
Every grill they sell is 100% 304 stainless steel. In addition to providing full-service design and installation, they also sell individual appliances to the public and to contractors who do their own installation. According to Murphy, Outdoor Living by Design is truly a full-service operation. Their Daphne facility includes a workshop where they pour concrete for a wide variety of stepping stones, grill surrounds, fire pits, and much more. They have molds to produce all sorts of stone, brick, and woodgrain effects. They also construct pergolas out of high-quality lumber to fit each individual client’s needs and available space. “Every job is a custom job,” says Murphy. “We aim to provide the client with total satisfaction, and we take great pride in our workmanship.”
