For over 60 years, Grady-White Boats has been recognized for building ruggedly elegant coastal fishing boats and delivering an unparalleled level of customer satisfaction not found from other boat manufacturers. Through their dedication to innovation, a focus on continuous improvement, and their exceptional attention to detail, Grady-White’s impressive lineup, ranging from 18 to 45 feet in length, continues to delight customers desiring boats that are as equally luxurious as they are built for handling rough seas and fishing the canyons. How does Grady-White know what their customers are looking for? They ask and they listen. This desire to deliver what customers want is ever-present in their center console Canyon series. After receiving customer input, Grady-White perfected their center console designs, and today, with ten models to choose from, they remain a top choice among avid anglers and knowledgeable boat buyers.

Two models that demonstrate this best are the flagship Canyon 456 and the Canyon 376. Both boats come standard with just about every fishing amenity and comfort feature you’d expect to see on an angler’s wish list. In addition to Grady-White’s tried and true center console layout, each boat is equipped with ingenious features such as nonskid decks and self-bailing cockpits, insulated storage and iceboxes that drain directly overboard, and more than enough foam flotation–resulting in an unsinkable boat. Of course, it wouldn’t be a Grady without the signature SeaV2® hull, recognized around the world for delivering the industry’s driest and most comfortable ride–just one more feature that makes Grady-White a number one model for serious fishermen that don’t want to miss a day on the water.

Designed for anglers looking for the top-of-the-line alternative to inboard luxury sportfishing yachts, the Canyon 456 was unveiled in the spring of 2018 as the largest of its kind. A breakthrough model, it perfectly blends tough fishing machine characteristics with all the amenities expected in a first-rate cruising yacht. While every inch of the boat delivers supreme comfort and style, the attraction starts at the helm with Grady’s exclusive Sea Command Center equipped with the latest technology. CZone® digital switching enables one-touch control of on-board systems including power, electrical, lighting, heating and air conditioning, and seacock operation. Not at the helm? A software application allows remote command of these functions right from your phone!

Other notable characteristics of the helm area include four electrically adjustable deluxe captain’s chairs with flip-up bolsters and fold down armrests, an enclosed AV2® T-top with an integrated wraparound windshield for maximum visibility and protection, electric opening side windows, and a large overhead hatch. This top also includes a built-in electronically retractable cockpit SureShade®.

For those serious about filling the fish boxes, the 456 comes with a 459-quart refrigerator/freezer insulated fish box with digitally controlled thermostat aft, and a 239-quart fish box in the bow. Port and starboard livewells keep the bait fresh, and the rigging station with a pullout sink and stainless steel storage drawers means there’s a place to get the rods set and the bait in the water. Ready to cook up lunch for the crew? Stay in the action from the cockpit galley complete with a grill, refrigerator, and convenient trash compartment–just right to serve up burgers or the catch of the day.

While the 456 was built with fishing in mind, we’d be remiss if we didn’t highlight the rich plush seating in the bow with multi-position backrests and electromechanically adjustable bow tables. Below deck, the console is complete with a forward convertible vee berth, as well as port and starboard galleys with Corian® countertops, a stainless steel sink, cooktop, microwave drawer, refrigerator, and an electromechanically adjustable dinette table. A spacious, lockable head area with a sink, shower, and 20-gallon holding tank completes the stately space. Whether it’s a day for fishing or fun, the 456 is rigged with quad Yamaha 425 XTO engines and a Seakeeper® 6 so you’re always ready for the adventure.

Prefer something not as large as the 456 but still want the full complement of features and conveniences? Take a look at the Canyon 376. This 37-foot center console offers the ultimate fishing amenities and comfort in a slightly smaller footprint. With unmatched offshore fishing functionality, this wide-beamed boat comes equipped with a roomy interior, modern features, and luxurious accommodations that make it a great weekender, too.

The large T-top enclosure integrates Grady’s expansive sight line visibility and provides abundant protection for the three plush Command Elite helm chairs with deluxe cushioning and flip-up bolsters. An electromechanically operated electronics enclosure is adjustable to suit the helmsman’s viewing height. Two air conditioning vents at the helm, a center vent that opens with the touch of a button, and winged curtains mean you’ll ride in comfort no matter the weather.

Other notable fishing features of the 376 include 38 rod holders, some lockable, a lean bar with two 41-gallon livewells, and a rigging station with a freshwater sink, lure holder, and lockable bulk storage drawer and tackle trays. When the fish start biting, haul them aboard through the side or transom doors, and store them in the 291-quart aft refrigerator/freezer insulated fish box complete with a digitally controlled thermostat. If your skilled crew catches enough to fill another cooler, there are two additional fish boxes in the bow, each totaling 263 quarts, providing ample space for fish and refreshments.

Let’s not forget the horsepower of this remarkable boat. With triple Yamaha 425 XTOs that achieve a top speed of 60-plus mph and Yamaha’s Helm Master EX® with Full Maneuverability, a standard feature on this boat, you’ll easily get to the fishing grounds and back early enough to enjoy a dinner cruise with friends and family.

With a spacious and well-appointed console, the 376 is perfect for cruising, too. The cabin-like interior features a roomy stand-up shower, head area, and a galley with Corian® countertops, as well as a stainless steel sink, refrigerator, and microwave. The extra-large berth extends forward and sleeps two comfortably. The standard generator makes overnight trips enjoyable, and the side window makes the space feel airy and open. These features, combined with the quality fit and finish of a Grady-White, make for another boat that’s a leader in its class.
