Steven Mangum, owner of STM Photography LLC for the last 17 years, is a creator of film and photos with work spread across every aspect of our lives here on the Emerald Coast.

Life unravels as a sun-kissed masterpiece, interlaced with the vivid colors of our surroundings and the narratives that Steven immortalizes through his camera lens. From childhood explorations with the first camera his father gave him to Steven's globetrotting adventures, his lens paints a picture of resilience, connection, and the beauty of everyday moments.

Born and raised on Florida's Gulf Coast, Steven's virtues of freedom and discipline intertwined. His days were spent snorkeling in the shallows of the sugary sand coastline and absorbing the values of resilience and appreciation instilled by his Air Force parent's household. These values translate into his photography and videography, where he transforms empty spaces into beachside havens and weaves coastal architectural dreams into each frame. Steven embarked on a journey to New York City after earning a film degree from the University of West Florida. This experience guided him in refining his professional craft, honing his skills, and imparting the art of storytelling through the diverse perspectives of its inhabitants. This experience fueled his global odyssey, capturing breathtaking landscapes and the human spirit in New Zealand, Australia, Italy, and Southeast Asia. Each country became a new chapter, enriching his story and filling him with unique narratives.

In due course, the call of home beckoned. Santa Rosa Beach transformed into Steven's creative sanctuary, where he specialized in real estate photography. However, his true prowess lies in establishing connections with his subjects. Whether documenting the opulent beach houses of 30A or capturing the artistry of culinary endeavors, Steven approaches each with the same meticulous attention to detail that characterized his global travels.

His warmth and authenticity shine through, transcending technical expertise. He understands the actual value lies in creating memories that last.
