About The Shot:
I shot this image of Byron Bay longboarder Rosin Carolin during a week-long road trip around Tasmania in 2018. We had been shooting the entire week and managed to score some pretty fun waves. The conditions looked super small on the last day of our trip, so I thought I’d mess around with some slow shutters. I remember panning with Roro as she glided past me and could feel the click of the shutter in time with the pan/ movement of the water, so I knew she would be in focus.
