For more than 30 years, New View Windows and Doors has shaped the skyline along Florida’s Emerald Coast. New View began with Ted Forét’s humble vision and quickly earned a reputation for architect-driven window and door solutions, serving some of the region’s most distinctive homes and commercial projects through strong regional branding and national vendor partnerships.

Today, the company is stepping confidently into a new era. With a refreshed showroom, a growing team, and a laser focus on craftsmanship and service, New View is evolving and building on its strong foundation.
“We’ve always been known for premium products,” says Tyler Scruggs, managing partner and a 12-year New View veteran. “But now, we’ve taken that to another level; not just in what we offer, but in how we support the builder and homeowner through every step.”
Specializing in oversized glass systems, high-performance custom doors, and window solutions to elevate coastal design, New View has tackled projects others wouldn’t attempt. They work primarily with architects, builders, and their clients, offering both creative vision and construction know-how. “We’re not just order takers,” says Ted Forét. “We become another set of eyes for the builder; an extension of the design and construction team.”
New View’s legacy is built on relationships, especially those cultivated by founder Ted Forét. Known for his deep ties in the community and his gift for mentorship, Forét helped put many of the region’s premier builders and architects on the map. His sales philosophy was never about just closing deals; it was about education, trust, and follow-through.

“I just love what I do,” Forét says. “I’ve been blessed to surround myself with good people who care about doing what’s right for the customer. That’s what sets us apart: we do what we say we’re going to do, and we exceed expectations.”
That commitment to excellence is evident in the company’s long-standing partnerships with top-tier vendors like Sierra Pacific, Jeld-Wen, and Euro-Wall; brands offering extensive customization in color, trim, hardware, and performance, allowing New View to match each project’s unique vision and needs.

“The team we have today is the strongest we’ve ever had,” says Amanda Kramer, outside sales and in-house interior designer. “There’s a sense of purpose here. Everything is intentional, from how we show up on job sites to the way we communicate with clients. You can feel the difference.”
In addition to her sales role, Amanda provides design guidance as the in-house interior designer to both builders and homeowners. From selecting window colors and finishes to coordinating hardware and trim, New View’s in-house design support helps streamline the process for busy contractors who want confidence in their selections.
With growth on the horizon, including a new location to be announced later this year, New View is poised to meet the region’s booming demand. Behind the scenes, they’re developing new internal tools designed to streamline communication, simplify logistics, and enhance the client experience. These upcoming innovations reflect the team’s forward-thinking approach and commitment to continuous improvement.
As Forét puts it, “This business started out of necessity, but what’s kept it going is passion and "that’s something we’ll never lose.”
