Pete Cabrinha’s life long dedication to surfing and the arts is a journey which has gained him personal success and worldwide acclaim. International awards in Surfing (XXL Biggest Wave Award), Windsurfing (WSMA World Champion), and Kitesurfing (IDEA Design Innovation Award) have put Pete into an exclusive list of world class water sports athletes.
His pioneering contributions in Windsurfing, Towsurfing, Kitesurfing, and Foilboarding have redefined what it is to be a surfer in the 21st century. Pete’s extraordinary connection to the ocean has also fueled his parallel life as an artist.
Throughout his professional water sports career Pete has pursued the arts with vigor and curiosity. He has paired his technical photography skills with his off center painting and collage techniques to capture the essence of a life lived in and out of the Hawaiian waters.

Pete lives in Haiku, Maui with his wife Lisa and his daughter Tahiti.
