Melting Pot has been a favorite destination in Destin since 2007 and with new owners, Mark & Becky Chapman, the future is looking fabulous for fondue. In September of 2021, Oklahoma residents, Mark and Becky Chapman became the new owners of their third Melting Pot location in Destin, Florida. After becoming the first franchisees in Oklahoma in 2005, then opening their second location in 2007, the Chapmans have mastered all the essentials of running a fondue restaurant. The couple has developed high standards of business over the last 17 years and will be slowly implementing their methods into the newly purchased restaurant in Destin. With operational changes, remodels, and patio updates coming this fall, the Melting Pot Destin is on its way to becoming one of the area’s most popular spots.
Don’t let the Oklahoma home base fool you, Mark and Becky actually both grew up in Florida. Becky is from Satellite Beach and Mark was born and raised in Miami, then graduated from Milton High School and University of West Florida. So when the Destin Melting Pot’s sale was brought to their attention, they jumped at the chance to be back near the coast. Becky told us, “We’re native Floridians and ready to be back home. We’ve already purchased a condo and feel so at home in Destin. General Manager Erin Harris has been employed at Melting Pot for 9 years and brings continuity to the staff with the change in ownership.

Our classic Wisconsin Cheddar is a blend of Sam Adams Boston Lager, aged cheddar, garlic, and spices accompanied by fresh bread, vegetables, and tart Granny Smith apples for dipping!
Cheese is followed by a fresh salad with house-made dressings. A fan favorite is the beautiful California Salad made with mixed greens, sweet candied pecans, gorgonzola, diced tomatoes, and a delicious Raspberry Walnut Vinaigrette. Next is your entrée of tantalizing meats, seafood, and vegetables, served with your choice of cooking style and dipping sauces. Finally, the iconic Melting Pot course, chocolate fondue. Indulge in the rich, creamy dessert with an array of sweet fruit, brownies, blondies, sugar-crusted waffle bites, macarons, and cheesecake. Delicious flavor options are available to feed any kind of sweet tooth you have, from the cinnamon swirled white chocolate Bananas Foster to the flambéed caramel topped milk chocolate, the Flaming Turtle.
