Destin natives and husband and wife design team, Brett and Trisha Henry, share a unique journey that intertwines their personal and professional lives. In 2013, Brett having grown up in the construction business, decided to open up his own business and obtained his CGC license. Meanwhile, Trisha found herself drawn into Brett’s industry, organically transitioning from her corporate position to working alongside him. As their construction business flourished, Trisha began infusing her design expertise into the projects, laying the foundation for their future endeavors.
In 2018, the couple embarked on a new venture, Coastline Copper, initially focusing on selling crafted copper lighting. Their interest in lighting design, particularly Trisha’s, was a driving force behind this endeavor. However, their shared vision extended further back to five years prior when they conceived the idea for The Henry Haus. Trisha’s experience of gathering samples from various stores for clients underscored the need for a comprehensive design destination. With meticulous attention to detail and a knack for space design, the couple ventured into various aspects of home renovation, including cabinetry, flooring and lighting.
As many faced the challenges of 2020, the construction industry was no different, which prompted Trisha to take matters into her own hands. She taught herself to draw and design cabinets and oversaw the expansion of their offerings to include countertops, custom cabinetry, lighting, tile, flooring, furniture, upholstery and much more. The opening of The Henry Haus marked the culmination of their journey, offering local clients a one-stop-shop for their design needs, while also offering builders, designers and architects a place they can utilize for meetings, inspiration, and material selection.
The Henry Haus prides itself on catering to renovation customers, leveraging Brett’s contractor background and Trisha’s passion for design to deliver personalized solutions. Their in-house, tight-knit team of employees ensures seamless installations from concept to completion, setting them apart in the Destin/Santa Rosa Beach area’s design landscape.
