“From the outset, the client played an active role in the design process, curating a collection of art pieces from around the world, which imbues the home with a unique and personal touch,” Jazayeri reflects. Around every corner are elements of surprise and the overarching narrative. The resulting environment feels both curated yet lived-in, where the story of travel and design effortlessly merges with the rhythm of daily life on the Gulf Coast.
When entering the home, guests are greeted by a breathtaking staircase, a striking focal point of the design that commands attention. This masterpiece, constructed by Saltwater Steel in Freeport, Florida, is a testament to the value and quality of Jazayeri’s vision. “The floating staircase, anchored by steel I-beam columns, exudes an industrial yet elegant aesthetic,” Jazayeri adds, emphasizing its sophistication and style. The home boasts a stunning pool and cabana area with breathtaking panoramic views of the serene Western Lake. Enveloped by the canopy of surrounding trees, these outdoor spaces create a secluded oasis, blurring the lines between nature and architecture.
