Orange Beach restaurateurs Brian and Jodi Harsany, owners of Cosmo’s Restaurant & Bar and Cobalt, The Restaurant, have done it again. Cosmo’s Courtyard, located on Canal Road, has been home to the popular Cosmo’s Restaurant & Bar since 2006. Travelers and locals alike have spent the last decade enjoying Cosmo’s hand cut steaks, local seafood, pasta dishes and house-made sushi, along with creative cocktails and excellent service. Cobalt, The Restaurant, features authentic coastal cuisine and live music, along with spectacular views of the bay, in its location under the Perdido Pass Bridge next to The Caribe. With these in place, the Harsanys were ready for new challenges. They have recently expanded Cosmo’s Courtyard to provide two new and distinct options for Orange Beach diners. “We are excited to be able to offer another unique dining option to our guests,” says Brian Harsany. “We are grateful for all the community support that has allowed us to continue to grow and to be a part of Orange Beach.”
Luna’s Eat & Drink is a high-energy, family-friendly eatery delivering high-quality, Southern-inspired comfort foods and 32 craft beers on tap. The menu includes plenty of familiar favorites made with the freshest and simplest ingredients – sandwiches and salads, build-your-own burgers and dogs, small and large plates – with an inventive approach and a twist here and there. The beer list boasts some great Alabama selections as well as brews from farther afield. Culinary Director Sam McLeod and Executive Chef Bart Wilson bring decades of experience, a carefully chosen staff, and a love of the wealth of fresh ingredients available along the coast to the kitchen at Luna’s.
Buzzcatz Coffee & Sweets, also located in the Courtyard, specializes in simple breakfast fare that includes traditional and Belgian waffles with delectable variations, breakfast sandwiches featuring local delicacies, and a quiche of the day. There are homemade pastries, lavish desserts, locally-roasted coffee and specialty coffee drinks, ice cream. Milkshakes, and more. Pastry Chef Kim Asbury and Barista Lauren Nelson bring years of experience to Buzzcatz and are committed to delivering the best possible experience to their guests.
Brian and Jodi Harsany have completed the Cosmo’s Courtyard experience by creating The Event Center, which fills the need for specialized on-site event catering in a convenient, accessible location. The Event Center at Cosmo’s Courtyard can host family reunions, wedding receptions, business events, and seated dinners and banquets for up to 200 guests in its 4,000 square foot facility. The Courtyard catering staff is able to assist clients in choosing the right venue within the Cosmo’s family, and then planning a menu that fills the guest’s needs and exceeds all expectations.
“We are excited to offer all these distinct options to our guests, both locals and visitors alike,” says Brian Harsany. “We pride ourselves on providing an unforgettable dining experience at each of our locations.”
